Early Life and Education
Zhanuzak Shynybaev was born in Kazakhstan.He completed his education at the Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky, where he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in 1982.
Academic Career
Shynybaev began his academic career in 1982 as an assistant at the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute.He later moved to the Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers of Social Sciences at KazGU named after S.M. Kirov, where he served as head of the philosophy department from 1985 to 1988.
From 1988 to 1999, Shynybaev worked as a senior lecturer at the Kazakh State Theatre and Art Institute named after Zhurgenov.He also taught as a senior lecturer and acting associate professor at the Higher Party School, Institute of Political Science and Management, and Kazakh Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting from 1989 to 1993.
In 1993, Shynybaev joined the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as an associate professor, doctoral student, and later a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science and Religious Studies.He also served as the head of the laboratory for the development of innovative educational programs and director of the Institute of Harmonious Human Development at the National Scientific-Practical, Educational and Health Center "Bobek" from 2003 to 2006.
Since 2006, Shynybaev has been working as a leading and chief research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Concurrent Positions
In addition to his main academic appointments, Shynybaev has also held several concurrent positions.He worked as a senior lecturer at the Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov from 1982 to 1984. He was a lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 1997 to 1999.
Furthermore, Shynybaev served as a professor at the Higher School of Law "Adilet" from 2001 to 2002 and at the University "Kainar" from 2001 to 2003.He was also the director of the Institute of Professional Retraining and Distance Education at the T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University from 2006 to 2007.
Social Activities
Shynybaev has been actively involved in various social activities.He has led the Non-profit Organization "Information and Consulting Group "Perspective" since 2009.
