Mikhail "Bocharik" Shapiro was born on October 4, 1969, in Novosibirsk, Russia. He graduated from the Novosibirsk State University's Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty.
KVN and OСП
In 1984, Shapiro became a member of the KVN (Club of Funny and Resourceful People) team at Novosibirsk State University. He was its president in 1990 and a champion in 1989, 1991, and 1993.
In 1997, Shapiro founded the production company OСП ("Object of Social Research").
Television Career
"Clip-clip URA!" and "Titres and Special Effects"From 1994 to 1995, Shapiro was the creator and director of the television programs "Clip-clip URA!" and "Titres and Special Effects," which aired as five-minute segments within the "Business Russia" program on the Rossiya television channel.
