Introduction to Music

Elijah received his first guitar at the age of 13, a gift from Gene Simmons, the bassist of the rock band 'KISS', who was guitarist for Cher during a tour. It is interesting to note whether anyone recognized Simmons without his signature makeup and stage costume. In 1994, Elijah auditioned for the guitarist position in the Cleveland industrial band 'Nine Inch Nails', but the role was given to Robin Finck instead. He also appeared as a guitarist in the music video for his mother's song "If I Could Turn Back Time".

Deadsy and Music Career

Elijah Blue Allman is the frontman of the California-based group 'Deadsy', which he founded in 1995. The band played electronic synth-rock and consisted of Elijah Blue Allman on vocals and guitar, Alec Püre on drums, Jens Funke on bass guitar, Renn Hawkey on keyboards, and Carlton Megalodon on guitar. 'Deadsy' actively performed, toured, and recorded from 1995 to 2007, after which the band went on hiatus. In February 2010, Elijah stated that the group had not disbanded but had "fallen asleep" temporarily. However, the status of the band remains uncertain as all the members of 'Deadsy' are involved in their own projects, with Allman working on a solo project and the rest having joined other bands. 'Deadsy' released two albums: 'Commencement' in 2002 and 'Phantasmagore' in August 2006. Many of the themes in Elijah's music with 'Deadsy' were inspired by the 1955 science fiction film 'This Island Earth', with his stage name "Exeter" being the name of one of the main alien characters in the film.

Collaborations and Artistic Endeavors

In addition to his work with 'Deadsy', Elijah Blue Allman has collaborated with various other artists. He contributed to the recording of the debut album of the California band '30 Seconds to Mars', which featured the renowned Hollywood actor Jared Leto. Elijah can also be heard as a guest vocalist on recordings by 'Orgy', 'Coal Chamber', and 'Sugar Ray'. In 2010, he held his first solo art exhibition as a contemporary artist at the Kantor Gallery in Los Angeles.
