Early Career
Mitsuru Kuroda, the vocalist of the Japanese band SCARECROW, initially rose to prominence as the frontman of Iceman, formed in 1996. Despite releasing six albums, Kuroda felt stifled creatively within the band and decided to leave in 2000.
Kuroda Band
Following his departure from Iceman, Kuroda established his own project, Kuroda Band. The ensemble featured musicians Michiro (vocals), Mitsuhiro Konno (bass), Tetsuya Katsuragi (guitar), Kazuyoshi Baba (guitar), and Yasuhiro Okuda (drums). From 2000 to 2006, the band released six albums, two remix albums, and Kuroda starred in two films and authored three books.
SCARECROW
In addition to his solo endeavors, Kuroda currently serves as the vocalist of the four-piece band SCARECROW. The lineup includes Kenichi Ito (guitar), Masanori Ishibashi (bass), and Hideki Mizue (drums).
