Early Life

Elizabeth Röhm was born on April 28, 1973, in Düsseldorf, Germany. At a young age, she moved with her family to New York, before she turned one year old. They eventually settled in the state of Connecticut. Elizabeth's father, Eberhard Röhm, worked as a private lawyer, while her mother, Lisa, was a free spirit and actively involved in the hippie movement. However, her parents had difficulty finding common ground, and they divorced when Elizabeth was eight years old.

Elizabeth attended St. Andrew's-Sewanee School and later enrolled in Sarah Lawrence College in New York, where she studied creative writing and European history. In 1997, she made her television debut in the soap opera "One Life to Live," which gained her some recognition.
