Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, on December 31, 1999, Ellesse Andrews is the daughter of Olympic cyclist John Andrews and international mountain biker Angela Moth-Andrews. Andrews started her cycling journey in her early years with mountain biking, but quickly transitioned to track cycling at the age of 14.

Junior Career and Tokyo Olympics

Andrews excelled in junior track cycling, winning four medals, including two golds, at the 2018 Junior World Track Cycling Championships. In 2020, she made her Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games, earning a silver medal in the keirin event.

Paris Olympics Triumph
