Early Life and CareerElliott Gould was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Jewish parents who had emigrated from Eastern Europe. He graduated from the Professional Children's School and rose to prominence in the early 1970s as one of Hollywood's leading men.
Film Career
Gould's career in films slowed down significantly by the late 1970s. He transitioned to television, where he appeared in supporting roles. His most notable recent role was as Jack Geller, the father of Monica and Ross, in the sitcom "Friends." He also portrayed one of Danny Ocean's comrades in the "Ocean’s" film series.
Personal Life
Gould has been married three times:- Barbra Streisand (1963-1971): They have one son, Jason Gould, who is also an actor.
