Early Life and Training
Michael Kittelman, an Azerbaijani and Israeli footballer, began his football journey at the age of 8 at the Neftichy Football School under the guidance of Vitaly Stepanovich and Ivan Andreevich. From 1993 to 1998, he further honed his skills at the Neftichy club's youth academy led by Islam Kerimov. Kittelman also pursued higher education, earning a degree in Management and Administration from Baku University of Business.
Career in Israel
In 2002, Kittelman relocated to Israel with his family and played for Maccabi Herzliya, a first-division club in the Israeli league. After three years, he encountered disagreements with the coach, resulting in him losing his starting position. Kittelman went on to represent other Israeli clubs, including Hapoel Ness Ziona and Ironi Kfar Yona.
Return to Azerbaijan
Kittelman returned to his homeland, Azerbaijan, and joined several prominent clubs in the Premier League, including Khazar University, Shafa Baku, Bakyly Baku, Olimpik Baku, and Baku. In 2009, he signed for Masally and later moved to the first-division club Revan in 2010.
International Appearances
During his career, Kittelman represented the Azerbaijan U-19 national team in two official matches during the European Championship qualifiers, facing Finland and Macedonia.
