Early Career and World Cup DebutErik Frenzel, born in 1988, is a German Nordic combined athlete who has achieved unprecedented success in his sport. He first competed in the World Cup in 2007 and claimed his first victory in January 2008.
Olympic Medalist and World Champion
Frenzel's Olympic debut came in 2010, where he won a bronze medal in the team event. He went on to win gold in the individual normal hill + 10 km event at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Additionally, he has won numerous medals at World Championships, including five golds (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017), three silvers (2011, 2013), and one bronze (2011).
