Erica Nigrelli: A Woman Who Came Back from the Dead
Erica Nigrelli, an American woman, experienced a sudden cardiac arrest that caused her heart and breathing to stop. At the time of her clinical death, Erica was pregnant, and doctors performed an emergency cesarean section to save the baby. It was at this moment that a pulse suddenly returned to the "dead" Erica. Today, Erica is alive and raising her daughter, Elaine. Doctors unanimously called Erica's case a "medical miracle."

Biography of Erica Nigrelli
Erica Nigrelli, an American woman from Texas, was 32 years old when the events occurred in 2013. She was pregnant at the time and was about to give birth, being at 36 weeks of gestation. Erica worked as an English teacher in a school and had the incident happen to her while she was entering the classroom. Suddenly, Erica collapsed, with foam coming out of her mouth, and despite the attempts of her colleagues to revive her, she had already stopped breathing by the time the ambulance arrived.

Erica's husband, Nathan, also worked as a teacher in the same school and witnessed his wife's death before his eyes. When Erica was brought to the hospital lifeless, the first thing they did was perform a cesarean section to save the baby while it was still possible. The baby turned out to be a wonderful girl, and the doctors who were taking care of the newborn didn't even immediately notice that Erica suddenly had a pulse. Their surprise was immense when the patient showed signs of life.

Erica spent the following days in a coma while the baby, whom they named Elaine, grew stronger and became accustomed to the world around her. Eventually, Erica emerged from the coma and fully recovered. Today, she and her husband are raising their daughter, and both Erica and Nathan are convinced that it was the arrival of little Elaine that "resurrected" her mother. Without the childbirth, it is unlikely that Erica's heart, which had already failed and stopped, would start beating again.
However, Erica was told that her heart condition, of which she was previously unaware, could be compared to a time bomb that could have exploded at any moment. Fortunately, everything happened at the most opportune time, although it caused Nathan and all their relatives a lot of distress. The sad statistics of similar episodes indicate that nine out of ten people do not survive. But what happened, happened – Erica survived herself and gave life to baby Elaine, and now the Nigrelli family knows exactly how precious human life is.
Later, the story of Erica's incredible resurrection was told on many television channels, and Erica herself, along with Nathan and three-month-old Elaine, even appeared as guests on CNN. Doctors unanimously called this case a "medical miracle." In short, Erica Nigrelli died, gave birth, and came back to life, and there is simply no medical explanation for her miraculous resurrection. It happens sometimes – that's probably the only explanation, although Erica herself believes that she simply wanted to live very much, to see her daughter grow up, to be with her and her loved ones for a long time.
