Early Life and Education
Born in 1937 in Balkhash, Kazakhstan, the esteemed Soviet statesman embarked on his illustrious career path as an engineer-technologist at the Alma-Ata Heavy Machinery Plant in 1960. This marked the beginning of his decades-long service to the Soviet Union.
Career in Engineering and Management
Rising through the ranks, he held various positions at the plant, including engineer, department head, SKB head, and director of the Alma-Ata Electrotechnical Plant. He also served as deputy director and director of the household radio equipment factory of the "Alatau" production association.
Political and Economic Contributions
Simultaneously with his engineering career, he actively participated in political and economic affairs. A member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), he was elected as a delegate to the XXV Congress of the CPSU. He also served as a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR during its 10th and 11th convocations.
