Erwin Vandenbergh, a renowned Belgian footballer and striker, began his professional journey in 1976 with the Belgian club Lierse. During his six-year tenure with Lierse, he emerged as a prolific goal scorer, twice claiming the title of Belgium's top scorer.

Triumph at Anderlecht

In 1982, Vandenbergh made a pivotal move to Anderlecht, a powerhouse in Belgian football. With Anderlecht, he experienced immense success, winning multiple league titles and the UEFA Cup. Over 121 matches for the club, he recorded an impressive 87 goals.
