Biography of Evgeniya Loza
Evgeniya Loza, a rising star of Russian cinema, was born on July 6, 1984 in the city of Antratsyt, Lugansk Oblast. After finishing school, she was accepted into both the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and the School-Studio of the Moscow Art Theatre (MXAT) on her first attempt. Following the advice of Konstantin Raikin, she chose to attend the MXAT School-Studio.
Acting Career
Evgeniya Loza made her debut in the television series "Marsh Turetskogo" (The March of Turtskogo) in a supporting role. She then appeared as a disabled girl in the detective series "Illusions of Sin" (Kamenskaya). Her exceptional acting skills were soon showcased in feature films, including "An Angel Came to You" (Sasha Loza) and "The Lie Detector Is for Sale" (Olga, a young woman who lost her husband).
Shortly after completing the filming of "The Lie Detector Is for Sale," Evgeniya received a new offer. Director Aleksandr Kott invited her to play the role of Princess Mary in the screen adaptation of M.Yu. Lermontov's famous novel "A Hero of Our Time." The popular actor Igor Petrenko portrayed the character of Pechorin. The release of the eight-episode film is scheduled for the end of 2006.
