Evgeny Koshovyy
Birth and Early LifeEvgeny Viktorovych Koshovyy was born on April 7, 1983, in Kovarshovka, Ukraine. His father, Viktor Yakovlevych Koshovyy, was a boilermaker, and his mother, Nadezhda Ivanovna Koshovyy, was a kindergarten teacher. He has an older brother, Dmitry.
Education and Acting Career
Koshovyy graduated high school in Alchevsk in 2000 and enrolled in the acting program at the Luhansk College of Culture. While in college, he joined the student KVN team "Kogo Pozovat?".
In 2001, he joined the KVN team "Va-Bank" (Luhansk) and played in the KVN league from 2001 to 2005. He became known for his bald appearance, which he adopted to portray Alexander Rosenbaum and Vitas.
Joining "Evening Quarter"
In 2004, Koshovyy joined the comedy troupe "Studio Kvartal 95" and became a cast member of their show "Evening Quarter" in 2005. He is the only actor among the cast.
Other Television Work
Besides "Evening Quarter," Koshovyy has hosted the Sunday morning entertainment show "Ukraine, Vstai!" and served as a judge on the television show "Laugh at the Comedian."
Film and Television Roles
Koshovyy has appeared in numerous films and television series, including the popular political satire "Servant of the People," in which he played the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Personal Life
Koshovyy married Ksenia Koshovyy in 2007. They have two daughters, Varvara and Serafima.
