Fabio Basile is an Italian judoka who is known for his achievements in the sport. He was born in 1994 and had a childhood plagued by dyslexia. However, this did not deter him from pursuing his passion for judo.

At the age of seven, Fabio began training in judo at Settimo Torinese school. He would attend training sessions three times a week and in between, he would practice with a stuffed bear that was approximately his size. This early dedication to the sport laid the foundation for his future success.

Fabio is part of a group of young judokas as part of the national judo development program for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He began showing promising results at a young age, winning the Italian Youth Championships for under 17-year-olds in 2007.
