Italian Singer and Vocal Pedagogue
Born in Italy, the celebrated singer and vocal pedagogue completed his studies at the Bologna Conservatory. His career took him to Russia in 1901, where he organized and performed in "Concerts of Italian Music."
Instruction and Influence
From 1907, he shared his expertise as a singing teacher at the Kharkiv Music School and later at the Kharkiv Conservatory. His influential students included renowned performers like Pavel Golubev, Nina Syrovatkaya, and Mark Reizen.
Return to Italy
In 1918, he returned to his native Italy, where he served as the director of the Trieste Conservatory from 1932 to 1945. His illustrious teaching legacy continued with his final student, the renowned soprano Fedora Barbieri.
