Early Life and Discovery

Felipe, a Brazilian defender, was born with an exceptional footballing destiny. His talent caught the attention of a scout from the Italian club Udinese, who invited him to join their youth academy.

Youth Career at Udinese

Felipe spent a remarkable nine years at Udinese, rising through the ranks of the club's various youth and reserve teams. His exceptional performances earned him a place in the first team.

Debut and Breakthrough in Serie A

On April 6, 2003, Felipe made his Serie A debut in a match against Chievo. He featured in four games that season, before establishing himself as a regular in the 2003/04 campaign with 16 appearances.

Rise to Prominence

In the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons, Felipe cemented his place in Udinese's starting lineup, playing 31 and 35 matches, respectively. However, injuries unfortunately hampered his progress over the following two seasons.

Return from Injury and Transfer to Fiorentina

Felipe missed the start of the 2008/09 season, but upon his return, he regained his place in the team. On December 28, 2009, Fiorentina began negotiations for his transfer, which was eventually completed for 9 million euros.

Loan to Fiorentina

On January 2, 2010, Fiorentina secured Felipe on loan until the end of the season.
