Early Life and Education
Michael Moldaver, a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Italian immigrants. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Cambridge.
Academic Career
From 1967 to 1982, Moldaver taught at the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto, serving as Dean from 1979 to 1982. Subsequently, he held the position of Vice-President and Provost of the university from 1983 to 1985.
