Biography of Franklin Jones

Early Life and Education

Franklin Jones, born on November 3, 1939, in Queens, New York City, is a famous guru, self-proclaimed deity, spiritual writer, and artist. He graduated from Columbia University in 1961 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. Later, he pursued further education at Stanford University, earning a master's degree in arts and English literature in 1966.

Spiritual Journey

In 1965, Franklin Jones became a disciple of Rudolph Albert, and three years later, he embarked on a spiritual quest in India. He spent a significant amount of time there, studying until he was recognized as an accomplished guru. In 1972, Franklin began gathering followers and teaching them the great science in a bookstore in Los Angeles.

Founding Adidam

In 1974, Franklin Jones established specialized communities in Northern California known as The Mountain of Attention, where his followers lived and spiritually enriched themselves. In March 1993, he achieved a high level of universal consciousness and proclaimed himself a true sage, teacher, and savior.

Later Life and Achievements

In the last decade of his life, Franklin Jones actively pursued photography and created what is now known as Transcendental Realism. In 2007, his exhibition was held at the Venice Exhibition Hall in Italy. Many esteemed artists collaborated with him, including American art critic Donald Kuspit, who wrote an introduction to one of Jones' art books. Franklin Jones authored around seventy books, mainly focused on religious themes.

Personal Life and Legacy

Franklin Jones was the father of four daughters, one of whom was adopted, while the other three were from different mothers. He lived for 69 years and passed away on November 27, 2008, in his own home on the island of Fiji due to sudden heart failure. Today, there are still many followers of Franklin Jones (or Adidam, as he was known in his later years) who continue to propagate his ideas and teachings.
