Entry into Professional Wrestling

Kim decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling and joined Ron Hutchinson's wrestling school in Toronto. She further honed her skills under Rob Etchevarria at the "Squared Circle Pro Wrestling Gym." Her wrestling debut took place in December 2000, wrestling under the name "Queen of Cats" and wearing a mask. However, Tracy Brooks unmasked her during their match, resulting in Kim's defeat.

WWE Career

On September 27, 2002, Gail Kim reached the semi-finals of the WXW Women's Elite 8 Tournament in Danbury, Connecticut, defeating Nikki Rox (Nicole Raczynski) and April Hunter. In 2002, she was signed by the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Her televised wrestling debut came against Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon), which she won. Kim held the title for four weeks, defending it against Victoria and Molly Holly. However, on July 28, Kim lost the title to Holly. She later formed a tag team with Holly, defeating formidable opponents like "Stratusfaction" (Trish Stratus and Jackie Gayda). Lita (Amy Dumas) later joined their team, and they managed to defeat Gail and Nora. Unfortunately, Kim suffered a broken collarbone and had to temporarily stop participating in matches. Upon her recovery, she returned with a new aggressive wrestling style based on submission and occasionally even had a stunt double. On November 2, 2004, Gail Kim left the World Wrestling Entertainment but continued to compete in various wrestling promotions, including Japan.

TNA Wrestling

On September 6, 2005, Gail Kim signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and became the inaugural TNA Women's Knockout Champion by defeating Roxxi Laveaux (Nicole Raczynski) ten times. Her contract with TNA expired on August 20, 2008. In 2009, Kim made a return to WWE and competed for the WWE Divas Championship.

Acting Career

In December 2005, Kim appeared in the independent film "Princess" as a character named Nadia, who was an assassin. The film was released on April 10, 2009.
