Biography of Galina Avramenko

Introduction

Galina Avramenko is a Ukrainian athlete specializing in air rifle shooting. She is a member of the national team of Ukraine and has achieved the title of Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine. Avramenko is a multiple champion and medalist in world and European shooting championships and holds national records.

Family Background

Galina Avramenko's father, Gennadiy Viktorovich Avramenko, is an Honored Coach of Ukraine and a distinguished worker of physical culture and sports in Ukraine. He is also the senior coach of the national team of Ukraine for bullet shooting. Her mother, Galina Ninelovna Nazarenko, is an Honored Coach of Ukraine for bullet shooting.

Education

Avramenko completed her studies at Chernihiv Lyceum No. 22 and attended the National University "Chernihiv Collegium" named after T.G. Shevchenko.

Sporting Career

Avramenko's sport is shooting, specifically the category of bullet shooting at moving targets. She uses a pneumatic rifle called "Walther." Avramenko participates in exercises such as GP-11, which involves shooting at a moving target with 40 shots, and GP-11a, which also includes shooting at a moving target with 40 shots in a mixed sequence.

At the age of 13, Avramenko began competing in bullet shooting events as a representative of the Chernihiv Regional School of Higher Sportsmanship and the sports society "Dynamo."

Sporting and Mass Activities

Currently, Galina Avramenko is a member of the sports team of the Sports Committee of the State Border Service of Ukraine. As an athlete, she continues to represent Ukraine on the international sports arena. As a coach, Avramenko follows in the footsteps of her mother, Galina Ninelovna Nazarenko, who is an Honored Coach of Ukraine for bullet shooting.
