Life and Education

Galina Kiyshko, a Ukrainian-Dutch actress, television host, poetess, and model, was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 1992, she graduated from the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film, and Television, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned actress Ada Rogovtseva.

Career in Ukraine

Following her graduation, Kiyshko spent six years as a news anchor and television host in Ukraine. She also worked as a voiceover artist and performed in theater.

Emigration to the Netherlands

In 1998, Kiyshko emigrated to the Netherlands after marrying a Dutch citizen. Since then, she has continued her acting career, appearing in films, television shows, and advertising campaigns.

Notable Film Roles

One of Kiyshko's most notable roles was in the 2006 Dutch comedy "Dracula's Family Visit," where she played the character of Sophie, Dracula's girlfriend. She also starred in the short film "Groeten Uit Holland" as Svetlana, a Russian mafia member.

Literary Accolades

In 1996, Kiyshko was awarded the Second Prize of the Ukrainian-American literary publishing house "Fackel" for her children's writing. In 1998, she published a collection of children's fairy tales in verse titled "Ded Pikhto."
