Education and Early Career

Armenian engineer and politician, born in the capital city of Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1984 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

After graduation, he worked as an engineer at the Sevan Machine Tool Plant from 1984 to 1985. From 1985 to 1992, he served as an instructor in the executive committee of the Sevan District Council.

Business and Politics

In 1992, he became the director of the company "Paros." He held this position until 1995, when he was appointed head of the territorial branch of the state enterprise "Sevan."

From 1995 to 1999, he served as a member of the Armenian Parliament and was part of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations. He was also a member of the "Orinats Yerkir" party.

Public Service

In 2003, he was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Control Chamber of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia. He has continued to hold this position since then.
