Early Life and Education
Nikolai Zenchenko was born on May 4, 1937, in the Pervomaisky district of the North Kazakhstan region. After graduating from the Petropavlovsk Technical College of Agricultural Mechanization, he went on to earn a degree from the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute.
Career in Agriculture
In 1962, Zenchenko joined the Lenin state farm as an electrician. He later became the manager of the oil base and the head of the technical and maintenance department (MTM). From 1968, he served as the chief engineer and mechanic of the Lenin state farm before leading the Soviet district association of "Kazselkhoztekhnika."
Political and Leadership Roles
In 1973, Zenchenko was elected as deputy chairman of the executive committee. From 1976, he managed the Novonikolsky state farm, which underwent two reorganizations. In 1992, it became the agricultural association of renters known as "Novonikolskoye." In 1997, it was further reorganized into the limited partnership "Zenchenko and Company," where Zenchenko assumed the role of general director.
Recognition and Honors
For his contributions to agricultural production in Kazakhstan, Zenchenko has been awarded the title of "Kazakstanny Emek Eri" (Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan). He also holds the position of general director of the limited partnership "Zenchenko and Company."
