George Blanda, born on September 17, 1927, in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, was a renowned quarterback and kicker. Success with the Oakland Raiders
In 1967, Blanda found renewed success with the Oakland Raiders. He played a key role for eight seasons until his retirement in 1975. During his time with the Raiders, he helped the team reach the Super Bowl II, cementing his legacy as one of the franchise's greatest players.
