Biography of Georgii Zantaraya
Early Life and Judo CareerGeorgii Zantaraya is a Ukrainian judoka of Georgian descent born in Zugdidi, Georgia. He began his judo training under Coach V.V. Briman before continuing under V.V. Dubrova. Competing for the Dynamo Kyiv sports society, Zantaraya became a renowned figure in the sport, garnering numerous accolades.

Zantaraya's exceptional talent shone brightly on the international stage. He participated in the Summer Olympic Games, representing Ukraine, and made history as the first Ukrainian to win the World Judo Championship title.
