Jugnot co-founded the cafe-theatre "Splendid," where he frequently performed alongside popular actors such as Jean-Marie Balasko, Thierry Lhermitte, and Christian Clavier. Despite his physical appearance, being short, round-faced, and bald, Jugnot managed to captivate the audience and became known as "everyone's guy."

Acting Career

Jugnot began his acting career in 1973 with the film "Hello Actor!" directed by Yves Robert. He later appeared in the popular series "Les Bronzés" and "Les Inconnus." However, his breakthrough role came in 1981 with Jean-Marie Poiré's film "Santa Claus Is a Stinker," where he portrayed a unique Santa Claus distributing invitations to a sex party.
