Football Career
From 1946 to 1961, Boniperti was a prolific striker for the Italian football club Juventus, captaining the team from 1954 onwards. He also represented the Italian national team from 1947 to 1960, serving as captain from 1952.
Over his career, Boniperti scored an impressive 182 goals, making him Juventus' top scorer for four decades. He was surpassed by Alessandro Del Piero in 2006 and currently holds the second-highest scoring record for the club.
