Early Career
Nemanja Gojić began his footballing journey with Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda. However, his professional debut came with Jedinstvo Ub, where he spent two years, scoring twice in 50 appearances. He then moved to Čukarički, where he played 20 games and scored two goals.
Rise to SuperLiga
In 2007, Gojić joined FK Napredak Kruševac. During the 2006/07 season, he helped the team secure promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga, finishing third in the Serbian First League. He played 45 matches for Napredak, scoring twice.
Move to Javor and Trial Abroad
In 2009, Gojić signed for FK Javor Ivanjica. In 2011, he had an unsuccessful trial with Ukrainian club Tavriya Simferopol, along with his Javor teammate Damir Kahriman.
Return to Crvena Zvezda via Jagodina
In 2011, Gojić joined Jagodina as a free agent. In 2013, he faced Kazan's Rubin in the second qualifying round of the Europa League. That summer, he returned to Crvena Zvezda.
Career Highlight
In 2014, Gojić played in the inaugural match at Spartak's Otkritie Arena against Spartak Moscow, which ended in a 1-1 draw. This was a career highlight for the Serbian midfielder.
Move to China and Tragic End
In 2015, Gojić moved to Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai. On July 3, 2015, tragedy struck after he collapsed in the club's bus following a training session. He passed away in hospital at 10:25 pm local time.
