Biography of Graeme Black
Graeme Black was born in 1967 in Carnoustie, Scotland. He obtained his education at Edinburgh University, graduating successfully in 1998.
Career Beginnings
Black started his career as an assistant designer for John Galliano and later worked with Zandra Rhodes. He then collaborated with the Italian company "Les Copains" before being invited to join the fashion house "Giorgio Armani." He became the head designer for the "Armani Black Label" line.
Work at Salvatore Ferragamo
In 2003, Graeme Black became the chief designer of the women's line at Salvatore Ferragamo. Alongside his work at Salvatore Ferragamo, he also created collections under his own label. His first collection under the name "Graeme Black" was released in 2005, followed by another two years later.
Scottish Fashion Awards
Graeme Black's clothing production is based in Scotland, and he showcases his collections every season at the London Fashion Week (LFW). For the fall-winter 2009-2010 season, he presented his collection at the prestigious Spencer House. His designs are characterized by exquisite, luxurious fabrics, elaborate embellishments, and intricate patterns, all with a touch of artistic flair. In June 2009, Graeme Black was honored with the prestigious "Scottish Fashion Awards."
