In the Service of Enlightenment

In the vibrant intellectual atmosphere of Paris, he served as a secretary-translator for the Turkish plenipotentiary. Later, he became the secretary of Count Choiseul-Gouffier, assisting him in compiling a detailed account of his expedition to Greece. This work contributed greatly to the understanding of Greek history and culture.

Preserving Greek Heritage

The scholar dedicated himself to preserving and promoting Greek literature. He tirelessly worked on the publication of ancient Greek manuscripts, ensuring their accessibility to scholars and readers alike.
