Early Life and Family

Grzegorz Braun was born in Toruń, Poland, to filmmaker Kazimierz Braun. His paternal uncle, Juliusz Braun, served as president of TVP and held political office. His sister, Monika Braun, is an actress.

Academia and Journalism

Braun pursued Polish Philology at the University of Wrocław, graduating in 1990. He subsequently taught journalism there until 2007. In 1993, he completed a postgraduate degree in Radio and Television at the University of Silesia.
