Guillaume Depardieu was a French actor, born on April 7, 1971, in Paris. He made his film debut at the age of twenty. In 1991, he starred alongside his father, Gérard Depardieu, in the film "Tous les matins du monde." Although they worked together in two more films, their relationship was quite tense. Guillaume, known for his rebellious nature, accused his father of neglecting him during his childhood. It was only after filming the movie "A Loving Father" that their contact improved.

In 1996, Guillaume Depardieu received the Cesar Awards for Most Promising Young Actor for his role in the film "Les Apprentis." A year earlier, in 1995, an incident occurred in the tunnel of Saint-Cloud where a falling suitcase from a moving car caused Guillaume to fall off his motorcycle. As a result, he suffered a severe injury to his right knee, which led to an infectious disease. Guillaume endured unbearable pain for eight years before deciding to undergo a knee amputation.

The actor's troubles were not solely related to his health. He was often involved in speeding incidents, drug abuse, and was even imprisoned for driving under the influence. On October 11, 2008, Guillaume was hospitalized in Bucharest while filming the movie "Childhood of Icarus." Sadly, on October 13, 2008, he passed away in a hospital in Garches. The cause of death was a viral infection that resulted in severe pneumonia.
