Early Life and EducationGurbey Ileri was born on February 13, 1988, in Istanbul, Turkey, to a family with no connections to the film industry. He excelled in his studies, graduating with honors and playing on his school's basketball team. An injury ended his athletic aspirations, leading him to pursue acting. With the support of his parents, he enrolled in acting classes and went on to study at Beykent University.
Acting Debut
Ileri made his acting debut at the age of 19, appearing in the teenage drama series "Last Row" (2007). His first major role came in the feature film "Stay on Your Feet" (2008).
Rise to Stardom
Ileri's breakthrough came in 2011 with the lead role in the hit series "My Heart Chose You." He achieved international recognition in 2012 when he joined the cast of "Magnificent Century," playing the role of adult Prince Mehmed, the son of Hürrem Sultan and Süleyman the Magnificent.
