Early Life and Military Beginnings

Gurgen Dalibaltayan was a distinguished Soviet and Armenian military leader. His military career began in earnest in 1968 when he attained the rank of Colonel.

Rapid Rise Through the Ranks

Dalibaltayan's exceptional abilities earned him a swift ascent through the ranks. In 1971, he became a Major General, followed by Lieutenant General in 1992 and General-Colonel in 1996.

Operation "Razdan" and Military Accomplishments

In 1992, Dalibaltayan played a pivotal role in developing and co-authoring Operation "Razdan," which resulted in the capture of the strategic city of Shushi.

Awards and Honors
