Early Life and CareerHarley Jane Kozak is an American stage and film actress. She was born as the youngest in a family of seven siblings. When she was only one year old, her father passed away. Her mother moved with the children to North Dakota and later to Nebraska, where she became a professor at the University of Lincoln. It was in Nebraska where Harley first appeared on stage at the age of five. She showed great bravery and talent, and in fourth grade, she even played a leading role in the production of "Benjamin Franklin." With the help of her mother's connections, Harley then appeared on the educational children's TV show called "Music with Mrs. Kozak."

In high school, Harley continued to participate in productions at the Nebraska Theatre, and during the summer before her senior year, she began performing regularly in the play "The Legend of Daniel Boone." She received a salary of $55 for a full week of work.

After several small roles in local theaters, Harley moved to New York at the age of 19. She joined a professional acting program at New York University, where she honed her skills.
