Jodie Sweetin is an American actress and television host, best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner in the sitcom "Full House." She was born on January 19, 1982, in Los Angeles, California.

Early Career

Sweetin began her career at the age of four, appearing in hot dog commercials. In 1987, she landed her first role in the sitcom "Valerie," where she played a character named Pamela, the niece of one of the main characters. That same year, Jeff Franklin cast Jodie as Stephanie Tanner in the new sitcom "Full House," and she starred in the show from 1987 to 1995.

Education and Television Comeback

After the end of "Full House," Sweetin graduated from high school in 1999 and enrolled at Chapman University in Orange, California. She returned to television as the host of the second season of the dance show "Pants-Off Dance-Off" on Fuse TV.
