Biography of Helen Storey

Helen Storey is a renowned artist and fashion designer. She obtained her higher education at Kingston Polytechnic in 1981. After completing her studies, she worked in Rome with famous individuals such as Valentino and Lancetti. Currently, she resides and works in London.

Early Career

After returning to London, Helen collaborated with Belville Sasson and in 1983, she launched her own brand in partnership with Amalgamated Talent. Her collections in the late 1980s and early 1990s achieved tremendous success, exemplifying charm, beauty, and attractiveness. In 1991, she presented her work at the renowned fashion designer's show, Present Times, which was also well-received. This event led to Helen being recognized as the most innovative designer of the year and gaining the attention of the British Fashion Council.

Transition to Science

In 1995, Helen Storey discontinued creating clothing collections and shifted her focus to science. She had always been interested in fields such as biology, chemistry, and medicine. She continued her activities alongside her sister, Kate, who is a biologist.

Helen Storey Foundation

Helen's creations are not the only significant aspect of her career. She co-founded the Helen Storey Foundation in 1997 with Caroline Coates. This non-profit organization aimed to promote creative and research talents.
