Early Life and Education

Henri Le Fauconnier was born in 1881 in northern France to a doctor. He moved to Paris in 1901 and studied under painter Jean-Paul Laurens. In 1906, he enrolled at the prestigious Académie Julian.

Salon Debut and Artistic Evolution

Le Fauconnier first exhibited his paintings at the Salon des Indépendants in 1905. From then on, his artistic journey evolved through different phases:

- Neo-Impressionism (1905-1907)

- Breton period influenced by Nabis and Fauvism (1908)

International Connections
