Biography of Holly Madison

Holly Madison is an American glamour model and television personality, best known as the favorite blonde of Hugh Hefner, the founder of the Playboy empire, and as a cast member of the reality series "The Girls Next Door" (or "The Girls of the Playboy Mansion") alongside Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. Holly Madison was born as Holly Cullen on December 23, 1979, in Astoria, Oregon, USA. Her father traveled the world, working in the timber industry. From the ages of 2 to 11, Madison was raised on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska, near Ketchikan. Her family then moved back to St. Helens, Oregon. Madison attended Portland State University, where she studied psychology and theater arts for two years, developing her skills in both majors. In 1999, Madison moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University. She had to pay for her education and started earning money as a model, becoming the face of the brand "Hawaiian Tropic" and collaborating in the same capacity with the restaurant chain "Hooters". As a result, Madison was invited to one of the most famous places in California, the Playboy Mansion (the home of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner) in Beverly Hills. At that time, the notorious womanizer already had seven girlfriends, in other words, seven live-in partners. However, Holly still moved into the luxurious apartment and became one of Hefner's official girlfriends in August 2000.

Relationship with Hugh Hefner

In February 2002, when all but three of Hefner's girlfriends left him due to numerous scandals, Madison was proclaimed his "number one girlfriend" and moved into the main bedroom of the mansion. It can be said that he "sacrificed quantity for quality". The other two girlfriends, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, also had their own spacious bedrooms, but away from the main couple. In 2008, after Madison's success as the main person of Playboy, she was named the top girl of the "Hooters" 2008 calendar, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the restaurant chain. Holly openly stated that she had undergone plastic surgery, including a nose job and breast augmentation (from an A cup to a D cup). In 2003, Madison became a "Cyber Girl of the Week", an illustrated feature of the Playboy website. She also appeared on the cover and pages of the November issue of Playboy in 2005, alongside Marquardt and Wilkinson as part of the promotion for the reality series "The Girls Next Door". The girls appeared on the cover again in the September 2006 and March 2008 issues.

In the third season of the reality show, in the episode "My Bare Lady," Madison expressed her desire to start a producing career for Playboy. During the third and fourth seasons, she was shown working at the Playboy studio as a junior specialist and editor. She also assisted with the design and selection of girls for the "The Girls Next Door" 2008 calendar. Declaring herself an animal lover, Madison began writing articles about pets for the magazine "The Coolest Little Pet" in 2006. Since then, she has referred to herself as the "house mom" of the mansion mutts. In April 2007, Madison appeared nude in publications supporting PETA, an organization advocating ethical treatment of animals. The subtitle for the article spoke for itself: "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur". In the past, Madison has stated that she wants to become Hefner's wife and have children with him. Even the 80-year-old "old man" himself said, "Holly has my heart, why can't she have my sperm?". In one of the March 2008 interviews, Hefner said, "I love Holly very much, and I think we will be together for the rest of my days, but marriage has never been a piece of my puzzle." And the times when he was a legitimate husband were not the best times in his life, so he doesn't like to remember them.

Life after Hugh Hefner

The scandalous life of the three gorgeous girls with the old Playboy, where all three "wives" felt like the mistresses of his house, according to the whole family's words, was actually a strong relationship, although jealousy was not excluded.

On October 7, 2008, Madison stated in a video for TMZ.com that her relationship with Hefner had ended, but she, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson were "still shooting footage together." Hefner confirmed the breakup, saying, "If Holly says it's over, I suppose it is." He also confirmed that all three girls would continue filming for the sixth season of "The Girls Next Door" and that he planned to find new girls for his mansion harem.

Madison moved on from Hugh to famous Hollywood magician Chris Angel. She appeared in Jeff Barra's horror film "The Telling" as Stephanie in 2008, appeared in the comedy film "Scary Movie 4" in 2006, played roles in the TV shows "Entourage" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and became an actress in the horror film "The Last Broadcast" by Stefan Avalos and Lance Weiler in 1998. Having made a name for herself, she played herself in the TV shows "General Hospital," "The Bernie Mac Show," and "Viva la Bam," became a contestant on the TV show "Phenomenon," appeared on the talk show "Tyra Banks Show," and starred in the film "Boys Like Girls".
