Idrissa Gueye: Senegalese Midfielder

Early Career

Idrissa Gueye, a Senegalese footballer, began his career with Diambars FC before joining Lille's youth academy in 2008.

Lille Years

In 2009, Gueye made his debut for the Lille first team. During the 2010/11 Europa League campaign, he started in six matches and scored a goal against PSV.

Move to Aston Villa

On 5 July 2015, Gueye transferred to Aston Villa for £9 million, signing a four-year contract.

Everton and National Team

Following Villa's relegation from the Premier League, Gueye joined Everton for £7 million. He has been an integral part of the Senegalese national team, representing his country at numerous international tournaments.
