Early Life and Education

Born in Ukraine, the subject of this biography graduated with a degree in physics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 1989.

Early Career

Prior to his academic endeavors, the individual served as a driver for Rogatyn ATP 12640 from 1987 to 1988. Following his military service, he held positions at the Center of Microelectronics in Ulyanovsk (1990-1992), "Korona" in Lviv (1992-1993), and "Sapphire" in Rogatyn (1993-1995), where he served as an advisor on economic matters.

Business Ventures

From 1995 to 1997 and 1997 to 1998, he presided over "Technoinvestcenter" and "Techno-Center," respectively, both industrial and production corporations.

Political Career

The subject's political journey commenced in 1998 when he was elected as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the III convocation. Subsequently, he held memberships in various parliamentary factions before joining the "Our Ukraine" bloc in 2002.

Local Government and Second Parliamentary Term

In 2006 and 2010, the individual was elected as the Mayor of Kalush, a position he held for two consecutive terms. He re-entered the Verkhovna Rada in 2014 as a member of the "Solidarity" bloc.

Minister of Energy and Coal Industry

On April 14, 2016, the subject was appointed as the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

Personal Life

The individual is married and has two sons.
