Biography of Igor Timchenko

Igor Timchenko is a Ukrainian football player who currently serves as a forward for the club "Zakarpattia". He developed his passion for football thanks to his uncle, who introduced him to coach Alexey Vishnevetsky. He trained under Vishnevetsky from the 6th to the 10th grade. Later, he continued his training under the guidance of Sergey Doronchenko and Vladimir Sysenko for four years. Alongside Timchenko, these coaches also nurtured other talented players such as Ruslan Solyanik, Vladislav Kulik, and Sergey Radevich.

Immediately after finishing school, Timchenko received invitations to join the Poltava-based club "Vorskla". He began his professional career playing for the clubs "Elektron" (Romny) and "Ugolek" in the Second League. However, after a scouting session, he transferred to the Moscow-based club "Lokomotiv", where he played for the reserve team. During his time there, he participated in 18 matches and scored 5 goals.

After his contract with "Loko" expired, Timchenko signed a one-year contract with "Spartak" from Sumy. However, due to financial difficulties faced by the club, he moved to "Stal" in Alchevsk. He made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League on October 15, 2006, in a match against "Karpaty" from Lviv, which ended with a 0-1 loss. In total, he played 8 games in the Ukrainian Championship and 21 games, scoring 5 goals, in the Youth Championship for "Stal".

In the 2006/2007 season, "Stal" was relegated from the Premier League, and in the summer of 2007, Timchenko joined "Metallurg" from Donetsk. He made his debut for the team on November 23, 2007, in a match against "Chornomorets" from Odessa, which ended with a 1-0 victory for "Metallurg". However, Timchenko did not become a regular player for the team.

In the summer of 2009, after a preliminary trial at "Zakarpattia" in Uzhhorod, Timchenko joined the team on loan. He made his debut for "Zakarpattia" on October 17, 2009, in a match against "Chornomorets" from Odessa, which ended with a 2-0 victory for "Zakarpattia". Timchenko entered the field in the 89th minute, replacing Anton Shendrik.
