Sigurðsson began his footballing journey with KR Reykjavík, a renowned club in Iceland. In the year 2000, he embarked on a new chapter in his career by moving to Norway to join Lillestrøm Sportsklubb.
European Adventures
In September 2003, Sigurðsson crossed borders again, this time to play for Belgian club KRC Genk. After a stint in Belgium, he returned to KR Reykjavík on July 29, 2006. However, his stay there was short-lived as he was transferred to FC Lyn Oslo on August 8, 2006.
National Pride
