Ingrīda Ūdre

Political Career

Ingrīda Ūdre is a renowned Latvian politician and economist. She has served as a Member of the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) and the Speaker of the Saeima. Ūdre has also held the position of Minister of Economics in Latvia.

In 2004, she was nominated as a candidate for the European Commissioner for Taxation and Customs. Ūdre is a member of the Latvian Green and Farmers Union, where she previously served as the Chair of the Union's Green Party.

In addition to her political career, Ūdre has played a significant role in various organizations. She has served on the board of the Latvian Volleyball Association and has been a member of the New Party.

Presidential Aspirations
