Sarishvili was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. In the 1980s, she played a significant role in the movement for Georgian independence and the campaign to withdraw the republic from the Soviet Union.

In 1993, Sarishvili served as Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia. However, she resigned in protest against the country's entry into the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). She subsequently became a leading figure in the opposition political alliance "Imedi."

Formation of the "Salvation" Coalition

In 2022, at the age of 44, Sarishvili announced the establishment of the Georgian anti-fascist coalition "Salvation." The coalition's primary goal is to protect democratic values, prevent the establishment of a fascist regime, and promote traditional Georgian values.
