Ivan Turina is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Romanian club CSM Politehnica Iași.
Early Career and Dinamo Zagreb
Born in Zagreb, Croatia, Turina began his footballing career with his hometown club Dinamo Zagreb. He made his debut for the club in a Croatian Cup match in September 2007. Due to injuries to the team's regular goalkeepers, Turina made his Croatian league debut on October 27th against NK Zadar in a 2-1 victory.
Turina's European debut came on August 6th in a Champions League qualifying match against Slovenian side NK Domžale, which Dinamo won 3-2. He played twice against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League group stage, but Dinamo lost both matches and dropped into the UEFA Cup, where they faced Sparta Prague. Turina also played in group stage matches against NEC Nijmegen and Tottenham Hotspur. In total, he made 101 league appearances for Dinamo Zagreb.
Loan to Lokomotiva Zagreb
In 2014, Turina was loaned to NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, where he spent one season before returning to Dinamo.
