Jakob Rinne
Jakob Rinne is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Danish club OB and the Sweden national team.
Club Career
Rinne began his career with his hometown club Laxå IF. In 2010, he joined Forward in the Swedish First Division. He made his debut for the club in 2013. Rinne joined Örebro in 2013, initially spending the first six months on loan at Forward. He made his Allsvenskan debut on March 30, 2014, against Halmstad. In the summer of 2016, Rinne moved to Belgian club Gent. He made his debut in the Belgian First Division on July 31, 2016, against Kortrijk. In the summer of 2017, Rinne joined Danish club OB. He made his debut in the Danish Superliga against Silkeborg.
International Career
Rinne was a member of the Swedish youth team that won the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in the Czech Republic. He made his debut for the Sweden national team in a friendly match against Finland on January 10, 2016, replacing Patrik Carlgren in the second half.
