Lance Bass is an American pop singer and actor. He has recently ventured into producing and screenwriting, and even attempted to go into space.
Early Life
Lance Bass was born on May 4, 1979, in the United States. He grew up in Clinton, Mississippi. At the age of 9, he began pursuing music and was accepted into the school choir, where he eventually became the lead soloist. Lance took his first step on the professional stage as a member of the group "Mississippi Show Stoppers." He later toured the United States with the vocal group "Seven Card Stud," performing at various fairs and festivals. Lance gained recognition as a professional singer, confidently holding the stage and excelling in his role.
Music Career
In 1995, Lance Bass was accepted into the popular boy band "N Sync" as a replacement for Jason Galasso. He had to leave his education and dedicate all his time to rehearsals and concerts. Over time, the group gained immense popularity and became loved not only in the United States but also in many countries around the world. Lance Bass participated in the recording of albums such as "NSYNC," "Home for Christmas," "The Winter Album," "No Strings Attached," and "Celebrity."
Space Exploration Attempt
In 2002, Lance Bass had the opportunity to become the third space tourist. He underwent a rigorous medical examination and was deemed fit in all aspects. "Destiny Productions" sponsored the musician, covering almost all expenses related to his space journey and preparations. Lance began preliminary training in July 2002 and joined the crew of the Russian spacecraft "Soyuz TM-1" for the main training in August.
However, Lance's dream of going into space did not come true. Due to the termination of funding, Rosaviakosmos terminated the contract with Lance Bass. A container with equipment was sent to space instead of Lance. In 2006, Lance officially announced his non-traditional orientation and revealed his boyfriend, Reichen Lehmkuhl.
Acting and Producing
In recent years, Lance Bass has appeared in several films, including "On the Line," "Zoolander," "Lovewrecked," and "Chuck & Larry: Fire Wedding." He has also worked as a producer for films such as "Lovewrecked" and "On the Line."
