Jan Kozák
Jan Kozák (born April 17, 1954) is a former Czechoslovak footballer and coach who played as a midfielder.
Club Career
Kozák began his career with Lokomotiva Spišská Nová Ves in 1969, before moving to Lokomotiva Košice in 1974. With Košice, he won the Czechoslovak Cup in 1977 and 1979. In 1980, he joined Dukla Prague, where he won the league title and cup in 1981. From 1982 to 1986, he played again for Lokomotiva Košice. He ended his career abroad, playing for K.S.C. Lokeren in Belgium and Bourges in France, before returning to Lokomotiva Košice.
International Career
Kozák earned 55 caps for Czechoslovakia, scoring 9 goals. He won the bronze medal at the 1980 European Championship and participated in the 1982 World Cup, although he did not play in Spain.
